Previously, orders were handled through four separate systems: institutional administrators submitted weekly meal orders through one platform, teachers selected individual lunches through another, guests placed occasional orders through a third system, while internal employees used a fourth. The fragmented nature of these systems slowed administration and reduced operational visibility.

LogiNet consolidated the four ordering systems into a single platform. The solution is built on a Python backend using Django and the Unfold administration framework, while the end-user interface is developed in Vue 3 and aligned with Eatrend's existing website design. After signing in, institutional administrators manage orders for their own institution, teachers select individual meals, and guests and employees access the menus relevant to them.

Headcount reporting sits at the centre of the process. Daily order volumes are exchanged with three external systems. Aggregated headcount data is sent to the kitchen production management system (QuadroByte), which uses the figures to plan meal preparation. Headcount information is received from an external menu selection platform (MenzaPure) for institutions where students choose between Menu A and Menu B individually. Orders from retirement homes are received from the social care network in Győr (EESZI). All three integrations were designed around the partners' existing systems, requiring only minimal customisation on their side.

Bringing the four systems together into a single platform reduces the daily administrative workload of institutional staff and helps minimise ordering and reporting errors.
